APT Repository
This repository provides debian packages for seafile server and its components.
⚠️ Read before installing
- Keep good security and backup hygiene. Never expose a service unprotected. Use a reverse proxy for TLS termination.
- Migrations are automatically. Expect things can fail. Do backups regularily. Keep your data safe.
- As this package provides an alternative installation method, there may be differences from the official Docker images. Please verify any problems are also reproducible with their official Docker images before reporting upstream.
📝 Good to know
- Every service binds to 127.0.0.1 only - a reverse proxy is required for clients to reach the server
- Configuration files can be found at
/etc/seafile/*, everything should be configurable - The data folder is configured for
/var/lib/seafile/data - Changes to systemd units should be made with
systemctl edit ...
